Role:
Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer - Microsoft
You want to not only operate demanding IT environments but actively design and further develop them? In this role, you combine deep Microsoft expertise with project work, technical consulting, and operational responsibility. You accompany customers in implementing complex solutions and ensure that their infrastructure remains powerful, secure, and available both locally and in the cloud.
Responsibilities:
You design, implement, and optimise complex Microsoft infrastructures in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
You accompany customer projects from technical solution finding to productive implementation and work closely with ICT architects and project managers.
You conduct workshops on Microsoft 365, Azure, and local infrastructure platforms.
You analyse complex technical faults and take responsibility for their resolution in 2nd-level support.
You plan and implement demanding changes while adhering to defined processes.
You take on the technical responsibility for coordination with service delivery management.
You gather and specify requirements for complex customer systems and translate these into technical solutions.
You ensure complete and comprehensible technical documentation.
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer systems engineering or a comparable qualification.
You bring several years of experience as a senior system engineer or in a comparable position.
You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, virtualisation, storage, and network technologies.
You are well versed in hybrid architectures and complex infrastructure environments.
You hold several relevant Microsoft certifications or an equivalent high level of certification.
You work independently, solution-oriented, and structured, maintaining an overview even under high workload.
You convince through service orientation, teamwork, and clear communication.
You communicate very well in German and well in English and hold a category B driving licence.
