Role:
Do you want to combine your experience in international goods traffic with technical tasks? In this versatile position, you will manage customer orders, coordinate internal processes, and ensure reliable export handling. You will work closely with various departments.
Responsibilities:
You coordinate international customer orders and oversee their processing until shipment.
You create technical order configurations in the ERP system and prepare the necessary production documents.
You coordinate order requirements with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics.
You keep track of delivery dates and clarify possible delays with the responsible parties.
You handle export and customs documents and determine the preferential origin of goods.
You calculate standard offers and respond to corresponding price enquiries.
You support the organisation of service deployments and coordinate the associated processes.
You plan international trade fair transports and take care of the required shipping formalities including Carnet ATA.
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ), preferably supplemented by further training in foreign trade.
You have experience in order processing in an industrial or manufacturing company and possess technical understanding, preferably from the MEM sector.
You have solid knowledge of export processing, customs, and international shipping logistics.
You are familiar with free trade agreements, rules of origin, and export control regulations.
You have good user knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
You demonstrate initiative, reliability, flexibility, teamwork, as well as an independent and structured way of working.
You have very good German and English skills; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
