Following the success of our previous flash recruitments, we are delighted to renew our call to join our after-school teams!
As part of an ambitious organisational reform planned over the next three years, the Intercommunal Group for After-School Activities (GIAP) is strengthening its teams to better meet the growing needs of Geneva families.
We are looking for motivated and dynamic activity leaders to supervise children aged 4 to 12 on a daily basis. If you are available to commit to a minimum of 2 lunchtimes per week for substitutions or 4 lunchtimes per week for a permanent position, then you are the person we are looking for!

Recruitment day schedule
- Date: 28 October 2026
- Candidate reception: 08:30 to 12:00
- Location: Community Hall - Rue Ancienne 37 - 1227 Carouge
If your application is accepted, you will be invited to a mandatory information session held the same day from 15:00 to 17:00. Following this session, an appointment will be arranged to organise a practical training day on site.
At the end of the recruitment process, if you meet all the prerequisites, receive a positive evaluation during your practical training and have no criminal record entries or, if there are entries, obtain validation from the Management, we will be able to guarantee you an engagement.

Your profile
You must strictly meet the following criteria:
- Vocational training certificate (CFC) level or experience in the socio-educational field (minimum 2 years)
- Previous experience with children
- Proficiency in spoken and written French (minimum B2 level required)
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have the ability and willingness to work actively in a team
- Have a suitable attitude for the job requirements
- Be able to consume collective catering food daily
- Reside in the Canton of Geneva or within a maximum radius of 15 km
- Be available 4 lunchtimes for the activity leader or substitute position or at least 2 lunchtimes per week for the on-call substitute position
- Strong interest in working with children
- Sense of responsibility and team spirit
- Adaptability and good communication skills
- Kind, reliable and professional attitude

Remuneration and hours
Hourly wage: 25.40 CHF per hour plus 10% holiday allowance
- 11:00 to 13:40, working every lunchtime (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday), activity rate is 26.25%
- 15:30 to 18:05 as needed. Working every lunchtime and afternoon, activity rate is 53.75%
