Role:

As a System Technician for Modern Workplace & Infrastructure, you are the technical contact person when customers want to make their IT fit for the future. You independently plan and successfully execute projects around workplace, cloud, and security. In doing so, you combine Microsoft 365 (M365) with proven infrastructure into well-thought-out overall solutions. The diverse customer environments bring a lot of variety. Your knowledge has a direct and visible impact here.

Responsibilities:

• You lead infrastructure, cloud, and modern workplace projects and implement them with technical expertise.

• You take over the administration of Microsoft Security, Teams, Entra ID, and Exchange Online and continuously develop the environments.

• You plan client lifecycle projects with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot and migrate customer systems to the cloud or hybrid models.

• Furthermore, you manage environments with Windows Server and Active Directory and implement projects in the areas of backup, network, and security.

• As-is analyses, technical analyses, and documentation are part of your daily routine, as is participating in customer onboardings.

• In addition, you support new and existing customers directly on site and assist with challenging cases in 2nd and 3rd level support.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience as an engineer in the Microsoft ecosystem form your professional foundation.

• You are proficient in Entra ID, Azure, and Microsoft 365 and navigate confidently in hybrid environments with Active Directory and Windows Server.

• Ideally, you are familiar with solutions such as Fortinet, Veeam, or Sophos as well as endpoint management, server, storage, and network hardware from common manufacturers.

• Furthermore, you have already accompanied customer projects at an IT service provider.

• You approach tasks in a structured and independent manner and find pragmatic solutions.

• You also appreciate direct contact with customers and hold a category B driving licence.
