Chief Accountant - Fribourg

For our client, an innovative industrial company firmly rooted in local heritage, we are looking for a Chief Accountant to work directly with the CFO.

As part of an organisational transformation, your duties are broad and exciting: supported by your team, you will manage general accounting, treasury, and all internal controls through the production of financial statements, risk analysis, and company performance.

More specifically, with your team you are responsible for:
- Supervising the entire accounting cycle including stock and inventories, managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings...
- Supervising and validating provisions, depreciations...
- Overseeing quarterly VAT returns
- Monitoring cash flows and bank positions
- Short, medium, and long-term forecasting
- Cash management
- Managing financial risks, acting as partner and contact for banks
- Managing internal control
- ERP key user

- Federal Diploma or Chartered Accountant
- Minimum 10 years’ experience ideally in industry or with industrial clients if you are in Big 4 or fiduciary
- Professional French and English, German is an asset
- Proficiency with IT tools - ERP key user
- Salary negotiable, ideally 120/130K CHF
