IT Operations Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Do you enjoy being close to both people and technology? In this position, you combine both daily. As an IT Operations Engineer, you take care of a versatile infrastructure consisting of clients, servers and firewalls. Users and external partners appreciate your calm, solution-oriented manner. With your experience, you actively shape the further development of the environment.
Responsibilities:
You approach hardware and software problems systematically and find permanent solutions.
You support end users in-house and at customers and are a competent contact for external system managers.
Furthermore, you monitor the network environment via network monitoring and respond early to anomalies.
You set up new servers, clients and network components, configure them and keep them up to date.
You implement and continuously maintain protective measures for IT security.
In addition, you keep the ticket system under control during regular working hours and contribute ideas for a better infrastructure within the team.
Qualifications:
You have completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist in system technology with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification.
You have several years of practical experience in system and network operations.
Furthermore, you think customer-oriented and approach people openly and helpfully.
You are characterised by diligence and overview, and you prioritise with a focus on the essentials.
In addition, your pragmatic nature means you get stuck in, keep promises and enjoy working in a team.
German is your mother tongue, and you communicate effortlessly in English.
