Application Architect (m/f/d)
Our partner creates digital innovations in the financial sector. Since 2014, they have been developing Switzerland's digital wallet. Today, the largest Swiss banks and SIX are involved with our partner.
Responsibilities:
Definition and further development of the application and target architecture within an application stream
Design and implementation of an event-driven microservices architecture
Analysis and reduction of technical debt as well as continuous architectural improvement
Support for the integration of new functions into a complex payment system
Stakeholder management and close collaboration with IT, business, and external partners
Evaluation of new technologies and integration into existing system landscapes
Support in the migration to AWS and further development of the cloud architecture
Collaboration with development teams ensuring a stable operation
Responsibility for the technical governance of projects and external partners
Qualifications:
Completed computer science degree (Bachelor/Master) with several years of experience in complex IT landscapes and software projects
Solid knowledge in software engineering, especially Java/Java EE, Git as well as monitoring tools; AWS experience is an advantage
Experience in technical leadership, agile methods, and demanding project environments
Strong hands-on mentality, personal responsibility, and a structured, solution-oriented working style
Very good German skills as well as good English skills and strong communication abilities
