Head of Project Planning

At EKZ, you help shape the energy future where the power grids of tomorrow are created: in the Networks division. For our four network regions in Dietikon, Seuzach, Wädenswil and Wetzikon, we are looking for a leader in each who will actively shape the energy future together with their team. As Head of Project Planning, you take on the personnel and technical leadership of the Project Planning team. Together with your team, you ensure the planning and design of a safe, economical and future-oriented distribution network as well as public lighting. You ensure that projects are implemented on time and that the necessary rights and permits are obtained. Would you like to help shape the future of our network infrastructure together with your team? What to expect

• You lead the Project Planning team both personally and professionally and specifically develop employees as well as processes.
• Projects from the initial idea to final implementation - whether in the medium and low voltage network, at transformer stations or in public lighting - are independently planned, designed and coordinated by you and your team.
• In addition to developing network concepts, execution and cable construction plans as well as project credit applications, you coordinate utility line projects with municipalities, engineering offices and other utilities.
• You competently advise municipalities, customers, landowners, planning offices and builders, conduct negotiations on an equal footing and are responsible for obtaining all necessary rights, permits and applications.
• You confidently conduct tenders and awards for specialist civil engineering projects and actively contribute your know-how in working groups as well as as a superuser for systems and processes.

What you bring

• Ideally, you have further training at the HF level in electrical/energy technology, a master craftsman’s certificate or a completed technical basic training in the electrical or energy sector with many years of professional experience and further training, e.g. in project management.
• You bring initial leadership experience or are eager to take the step into a leadership role now - perfectly complemented by your know-how in planning, project design or operation of distribution networks.
• Thanks to your structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as your strong customer focus, you convince across the board and appreciate constructive collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are a prerequisite for this role.
