You want to not just administer Microsoft technologies but actively design sophisticated IT landscapes? We are looking for an experienced individual who combines Azure, Microsoft 365, security, and classic infrastructure into stable, modern solutions. The position offers technical depth, varied projects, and direct influence on the further development of complex customer environments.
Responsibilities:
Engineering and further development of modern Microsoft and Azure infrastructures
Technical support of hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
Planning and implementation of Azure solutions for compute, storage, networking, and managed services
Design and realisation of Microsoft 365 solutions
Technical responsibility for infrastructure projects from planning to productive deployment
Implementation of cloud migrations and modernisation projects
Execution of complex installations, rollouts, and technical transformations
Analysis of existing IT landscapes and development of sustainable optimisation concepts
Administration and further development of Windows Server and modern Microsoft client platforms
Support of Active Directory, Entra ID, and identity management solutions
Implementation of security concepts for cloud, server, and client infrastructures
Support and optimisation of firewall, endpoint, and protection mechanisms
Integration of network, storage, and virtualisation solutions
Automation of recurring administration tasks with PowerShell
Conducting structured fault analyses and root cause analyses
Technical consulting on architecture, cloud, and infrastructure issues
Creation of technical concepts, documentation, and standardised operating instructions
Further development of best practices and automated operating processes
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience as a cloud engineer, system engineer, infrastructure engineer, or in a comparable role
Solid experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
Very good knowledge of current Microsoft client and server technologies
Experience with hybrid IT architectures and cloud migrations
Good knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, and identity management
Practical experience with Azure compute, storage, networking, and managed services
Profound understanding of network, storage, and virtualisation technologies
Experience in IT security and endpoint protection
Knowledge of Sophos or comparable security platforms is an advantage
Very good PowerShell skills and interest in automation
Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104 or MS-102 are a plus
Experience with technical customer projects and professional consulting
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of technical customer contact
High personal responsibility and strong quality standards
IT education or comparable technical qualification
