Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF80,000 - 85,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist for the operational support and further development of central financial processes. The company operates in the public sector and has diverse requirements for general ledger, subsidiary ledgers and accounts payable processes. You will take on a responsible role in accounting and work closely with internal specialist departments.
Responsibilities:
Support in the proper management of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual closing tasks
Co-responsibility for the operation and further development of the accounts payable workflow
Support and assistance to internal departments regarding accounts payable processes
Verification, coding and posting of business transactions
Reconciliation of accounts and execution of control and clarification tasks
Support with tasks in the area of value added tax and financial processes
Processing of payment transactions and bank transactions
Qualifications:
Completed commercial apprenticeship with federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ)
Further training in finance and accounting, for example accounting clerk or fiduciary
Several years of professional experience in operational accounting
Good knowledge of banking and payment transactions
Knowledge in the area of value added tax is an advantage
