Network & Security Consultant (m/f/d)
Cyber threats are becoming more complex, and attack vectors more diverse. Our Rocken partner is an established specialist in holistic cybersecurity solutions covering the entire spectrum from strategic consulting through cyber defence to managed security services. With state-of-the-art infrastructure and an experienced team, the company protects customers from various sectors against digital risks. The scope of work includes security consulting, operating a state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre, as well as designing and implementing customised security solutions for networks, cloud environments, and applications. - You configure and maintain Check Point firewalls as well as proxy, cloud security, and VPN systems.
- You install firewalls and VPN access and set them up according to applicable security policies.
- You manage firewall policies and ensure that security standards are consistently adhered to.
- You perform upgrades and apply patches for firewall and VPN systems.
- You respond to incidents related to firewall and VPN systems and resolve them.
- You actively participate in operations and on-call organisation.
Qualifications:
- You are communicative, a team player, and able to handle conflicts well.
- You speak fluent German and English.
- You think analytically and work interdisciplinarily.
- You have completed IT training and ideally hold an advanced qualification, such as from a higher technical college.
- You have three or more years of experience with firewall technologies, especially Check Point.
- You hold certifications in Check Point products that substantiate your expertise.
