Role:
You want to understand how IT and industrial technology interact and manage systems where stability and security are crucial? Here you work at the interface of infrastructure, network technology and operations. You support both technical systems in industrial applications and the reliable operation of internal IT platforms.
You take on varied tasks, continuously expand your expertise and have the opportunity to participate in technical decisions and the introduction of new solutions.
Responsibilities:
You assist in the realisation and support of IT solutions for technically demanding systems, including in the railway and process industries.
You help secure network infrastructures, implement protective measures and further develop existing security concepts.
You take care of ongoing system monitoring, perform fault analyses and support maintenance work as well as technical enquiries.
You work on the administration of servers and virtual systems as well as backup, remote access and monitoring solutions.
You maintain technical documentation, optimise internal platforms and support the evaluation and introduction of new IT tools.
Qualifications:
You have a qualification as an IT specialist EFZ, automation technician EFZ or a comparable technical education.
A further education in IT at HF or FH level is either ongoing or planned in your career.
You know the basics of networks, operating systems or cybersecurity and want to deepen your knowledge in practice.
Initial experience with Windows server environments, VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox or monitoring systems is welcome.
You are technically interested, approach tasks in a structured and independent manner and communicate confidently in German. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
