Electrician Installer CFC Apprenticeship

The electrician installer plans, installs, commissions, and inspects electrical installations in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
This demanding and exciting profession combines manual work, technical thinking, and autonomy on site.

Typical work situations:

• Install and connect electrical panels, conduits, and cables
• Fit devices (switches, sockets, lighting, home automation systems, etc.)
• Read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams
• Perform measurements, inspections, and commissioning of installations
• Collaborate with various trades on construction sites
• Ensure safety and compliance with electrical standards

Required conditions:

• Completed compulsory schooling (intermediate or higher level)
• Good skills in mathematics and geometry
• Normal colour vision (or equivalent)
• Interest in electricity, technology, and manual work
• Good physical condition, precision, sense of responsibility
• Ability to work in a team, autonomy, and motivation

Duration of apprenticeship: 4 years
