Responsible engineering role in a modern technical infrastructure focusing on stable platforms, automation and reliable IT services
Technical support and continuous development of central platform, logging, monitoring and container technologies
Participation in infrastructure projects, standards, security topics and sustainable optimisation of platform operations
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for operation, further development and technical support of Splunk and Cribl as central logging and analysis platforms
Further development and stable operation of monitoring and observability environments with Zabbix, Grafana and Prometheus
Design and further development of Kubernetes and container platforms with Rancher, Helm and ArgoCD as well as HAProxy and Traefik
Conceptualisation, implementation and maintenance of Ansible automations to standardise and increase efficiency
Co-responsibility for PostgreSQL, MariaDB and/or MySQL platforms
Definition and implementation of technical standards as well as participation in security, operational and automation guidelines
Technical responsibility in infrastructure and platform projects, changes, maintenance and rollouts
Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex incidents at 3rd level
Participation in on-call duty on a rotational basis
Qualifications:
Completed training or degree in IT or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in engineering and operation of complex Linux, container and platform environments
Solid Linux knowledge and very good practical experience with Ansible
Expertise with Splunk and/or Cribl as well as experience in operation and further development of logging and analysis platforms
Very good knowledge in monitoring and observability, especially with Zabbix, Grafana and/or Prometheus
Practical experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
Knowledge of Rancher, Helm, ArgoCD as well as HAProxy and/or Traefik
Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, MariaDB and/or MySQL
Knowledge of Python or Go is an advantage
Experience in IT and infrastructure projects, ideally with technical partial responsibility
Strong customer orientation, personal responsibility and structured working style
Enjoyment in collaborating with different departments
Very good German and good English skills
