Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) / 80-100% / Permanent Contract

IMAD is a pioneering and reference institution in home care in the canton of Geneva. It provides care, support, prevention, and health promotion services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to more than 18,000 patients of all ages, 25% of whom are under 65 years old.

With its 2,400 expert and committed collaborators, including more than 50 teams deployed throughout the canton, IMAD's mission is to meet the population's needs and their wish to remain at home autonomously while preserving their quality of life during periods of temporary or prolonged fragility. It also helps to limit hospital stays, facilitate return home, and relieve informal carers.

Attached to a home care team, the ASSC provides services autonomously, respecting the client’s lifestyle, beliefs, values, and culture. They work interdisciplinarily and interprofessionally, respecting the institution’s mission and objectives.

Your missions and responsibilities

• Provide basic care and medical-technical acts delegated by the referring nurse, with a holistic approach to the client
• Promote the restoration of the client’s health, strengthening or maintaining their autonomy to enable them to restore, continue, or adapt their lifestyle so they can remain or return home
• Assess and reassess practical aid situations and take responsibility for them
• Perform practical aid services respecting the client’s lifestyle and environment
• Encourage maintaining links with the client’s circle and collaborate with them by identifying resources and providing information and support.
