Role:
Modern workplaces do not arise by themselves, and this is exactly where you come in. As a Hybrid Cloud System Engineer, you design cloud, security, and infrastructure projects from planning to implementation. Your technical focus is on Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure. Customers appreciate you as a contact person who listens, analyses, and takes action. Every environment is different, and you find the right approach for each.
Responsibilities:
You modernise customer environments and migrate them to hybrid or cloud-based platforms.
You manage Exchange Online, Teams, Entra ID, and Microsoft Security in operation and expand them purposefully.
Additionally, you are responsible for client lifecycle projects with Autopilot, Intune, and endpoint management.
You operate hybrid landscapes with Active Directory and Windows Server and drive security, backup, and network initiatives forward.
In tricky cases in 2nd and 3rd level support, you are the first choice.
Furthermore, you analyse existing infrastructures, document them thoroughly, and support customers with onboarding and operational takeovers directly on site.
Qualifications:
Several years of practical experience as an engineer in the Microsoft ecosystem form your foundation.
You know Entra ID, Azure, and Microsoft 365 in depth and are confident in Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid environments.
Experience with Veeam, Fortinet, Sophos, Intune, Autopilot, or Microsoft Security as well as with server, storage, and network hardware is desirable.
Ideally, you have already accompanied customer projects at an IT service provider.
You work independently, keep an overview, and approach problems pragmatically.
Additionally, you enjoy travelling, regularly visit customers, and hold a category B driving licence.
