Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer | Infra & Projects ? (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
You independently take on IT projects from requirements gathering through planning, implementation and testing to operational handover. In doing so, you coordinate internal stakeholders as well as external service providers and manage deadlines, tasks, risks, documentation and reporting.
In operational engineering, you design, install and operate Microsoft server infrastructures with central services such as Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP as well as file and print services.
You actively contribute to the further development of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID and especially manage topics around Identity & Access Management.
In case of technical faults, you analyse the situation, coordinate the resolution with internal departments and technology partners, and support the first-level support if necessary. Regular on-call duties are also part of the role.
You document technical solutions and operational processes comprehensibly and maintain operation manuals, system documentation and standardised work instructions.
Qualifications:
You have a higher completed education in computer science, preferably with a focus on system engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
You combine several years of experience in infrastructure or system engineering with practical responsibility for leading and implementing IT projects.
In the Microsoft environment, you have solid practical experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID as well as in building and operating server and client infrastructures. Knowledge of Linux is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of network technologies, DNS, DHCP and virtualisation complements your technical profile.
Fluent written and spoken German and good technical English skills are required.
