Transports Publics du Chablais (TPC) in Aigle employs more than 400 staff and manages four regional railway lines, as well as a bus network extending across numerous municipalities in Vaud and Valais.

As part of the growth of our company and the development of our transport offer, a new organisation of our Fleet unit will be implemented to better meet the evolving maintenance needs of our rail and road rolling stock.

In this context, we are looking for a:

HEAD OF METHODS AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT SECTION (80-100%)

YOUR MISSION

You lead your section and, as such, you manage the staff (approx. 6 people) and are responsible for the methods and processes related to the maintenance activities of our rail and road fleet. You supervise the planning of the maintenance programme, methods, and support activities for the maintenance teams. Furthermore, you coordinate outsourced services, negotiate and validate orders with providers, and oversee the execution of outsourced services. You organise and manage your section’s activities with proactivity as well as rigour in applying methods. You supervise the execution of activities in terms of compliance with standards (FOT, DE-OCF, SAN, manufacturer requirements), safety, deadlines, and costs. Additionally, you manage reporting and performance of the Fleet unit (indicators, dashboards, performance reviews). You identify and apply opportunities for continuous improvement. Finally, you create the necessary synergies with other company entities to ensure good coordination and communication.

YOUR PROFILE

With a basic education in a technical field, you have completed your professional training with higher education (federal certificate or ES diploma) in maintenance, work planning, or equivalent. You also have several years of experience in railway, vehicle, or industrial maintenance. Experience in maintenance activity planning or methods, as well as knowledge of public transport, are assets. Methodical, autonomous, and proactive, you know how to organise your work, set priorities, and adapt planning to encountered constraints. Your analytical and synthesis skills, global vision, and sense of cooperation enable you to interact effectively with numerous partners.
