Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Connecting modern IT infrastructures, cloud technologies and automation: We are looking for a technically skilled individual who not only operates complex environments but also purposefully develops them further. Those who enjoy taking responsibility, thinking about architecture and turning manual processes into intelligent workflows will find an environment here with plenty of scope for creativity.
Responsibilities:
Further development of a hybrid IT landscape with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and modern cloud architectures
Technical responsibility for selected business applications including lifecycle, availability, stability and continuous optimisation
Analysis of complex disruptions and sustainable troubleshooting in the interplay of applications, infrastructure, network and cloud services
Design and implementation of IT solutions together with business units and technical stakeholders
Independent management and implementation of demanding IT infrastructure, cloud and digitalisation projects
Identification of media discontinuities, manual work steps and optimisation potentials
Development of automations with PowerShell, Azure Automation and modern API interfaces
Further development of Identity & Access Management, role models as well as joiner-mover-leaver processes
Management and coordination of external IT partners for client, server, network and support services
Optimisation of endpoint management, endpoint security and device compliance with Microsoft Intune
Further development of Microsoft Teams including modern voice and contact centre integrations
Co-design of standards around data governance, Microsoft Purview and security
Qualifications:
Completed higher IT education at HF, FH or comparable level
Several years of experience in IT engineering, system engineering, cloud engineering or IT operations
Very good practical knowledge in the Microsoft environment with Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Intune
Sound understanding of modern IT infrastructures, security, identity and cloud services
Experience with Microsoft Teams, Enterprise Voice or contact centre solutions
Knowledge of endpoint security, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Copilot
Confident handling of Jira and Confluence as well as experience with agile working methods
Strong understanding of interfaces between business, applications and infrastructure
Enjoyment of automation, technological advancement and continuous improvement
Independent, analytical and solution-oriented working style
High sense of responsibility and convincing communication on both technical and professional levels
