For our client, a renowned and leading Swiss company in the retail sector based in Zurich, we are looking for an analytical and highly organised individual as a Distribution Planner Near Food, starting immediately or by arrangement.
In this key role at the interface of planning, sales, and supply chain, you will ensure optimal product availability and independently manage demanding planning and promotional processes.
Your Tasks
Promotions & Campaign Planning: Independent planning, management, and monitoring of promotions in the Near Food sector.
Assortment Management: Expert support for assortment changes and ensuring high product availability at the Point of Sale (POS).
Data Analysis & Reporting: Preparation, analysis, and evaluation of planning data in SAP and Excel to derive targeted measures in case of deviations.
Stakeholder Management: Close and solution-oriented collaboration with adjacent departments such as Category Management, Purchasing, and the wider Supply Chain.
Process Optimisation: Active identification and implementation of potentials for continuous improvement of processes.
Qualifications
You bring
Professional Experience: Solid practical experience in distribution, demand, or supply chain planning.
System & Tool Knowledge: Very good SAP skills (including SAP Analysis for Office) as well as very good Excel skills (including Power Query).
Personality: Analytical thinking, strong organisational skills, structured and independent working style, and a resilient hands-on mentality.
Advantageous: Experience in Swiss retail, user knowledge of Relex, and initial experience with automation tools (e.g. Power Automate).
Responsibility & Scope: Varied tasks with high personal responsibility at a central interface within the company.
Work Environment: Modern working environment at the Zurich location with attractive hybrid working models (home office option).
Perspective: A temporary position for approximately 9 months to strengthen the team with a real option for permanent employment.
