Technical Support Officer Electrical Industry 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• You are responsible for first- and second-level support for our international customers and branches, focusing on control and drive technology

• You support our service technicians in fault diagnosis and solution finding directly on site with the customer

• You analyse technical problems and determine the required spare parts as well as suitable technical solutions for sustainable fault rectification

• You plan and conduct technical training for our service technicians and customers

• You create, maintain and update knowledge base entries, technical documentation and operating instructions

• You actively contribute to systematically documenting our technical expertise and making it available throughout the company

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed vocational training as an automation technician, electronics technician or a comparable technical qualification

• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally as a service technician

• Sound expertise in control and drive technology

• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills and preferably knowledge of the Italian language

• Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking skills as well as a quick grasp

• Motivation to familiarise yourself with new technical fields and continuously expand your knowledge

• High degree of independence, initiative and sense of responsibility

• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in exchanging ideas with customers and colleagues

• Willingness to undertake occasional international business trips
