Senior Linux & Kubernetes Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Support and further development of a highly available Linux and container platform for business-critical applications
Administration of RHEL, SLES and Kubernetes as well as setup and optimisation of Rancher/RKE2 clusters
Automation of provisioning, configuration and maintenance with Ansible, AWX and Infrastructure as Code
Design and operation of modern CI/CD and deployment processes via Forgejo in close collaboration with development and application teams
Ensuring stable platform operation through monitoring, incident management, lifecycle management and security measures as well as participation in 7x24 on-call service
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in Linux engineering and with productive Kubernetes platforms
Solid knowledge of RHEL, SLES, Kubernetes, Rancher and RKE2
Very good practical experience with Ansible, AWX, IaC, CI/CD and DevOps
Knowledge in security hardening, vulnerability management, DNS, load balancing, firewalls and highly available systems
Technical education at HF, FH, university or ETH level or comparable practical experience; independent and responsible working style, German C2, English B2, French advantageous; willingness for 7x24 on-call service;
Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
