Designer in Mechanical and Plant Engineering (m/f/d)
Role:
As a designer in mechanical and plant engineering, you take responsibility for the design and development of machine and steel construction components in 3D CAD. You independently lead small to medium-sized projects and are involved in all phases of the manufacturing process. From creating the necessary manufacturing documents to the professional support of the production and assembly process, you ensure successful implementation. Furthermore, you process 3D scans and prepare projects for use with VR headsets. In close collaboration with customers, you create layout drawings and contribute to successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Leading small and medium-sized projects in mechanical and plant engineering.
- Design: Development and design of machine and steel construction components in 3D CAD.
- Documentation: Creating manufacturing documents such as drawings and parts lists.
- Process Support: Professional support during the production and assembly process.
- 3D Scanning: Processing and preparation of 3D scan data.
- VR Projects: Preparation of projects for presentation in virtual reality.
- Layout Drawings: Creating layouts in close coordination with project requirements.
- Customer Contact: Close collaboration and communication with the customer to meet individual requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completed basic training as a designer in mechanical or metal construction.
- Experience: Several years of experience in designing and developing creative technical solutions.
- CAD Skills: Proficient use of 3D CAD programmes, preferably Creo Parametric.
- Thinking: Networked, service-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Personality: Committed and responsible personality with organisational talent and a solution-oriented working approach.
- Language: Very good German skills, both spoken and written.
