Role:
You want to not only manage cloud security but help shape it from the ground up? This position is exactly where that starts. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you build an Azure platform and develop it purposefully. Security and networking are at the centre of your work. With your experience, you set standards that many teams rely on.
Responsibilities:
You develop zero-trust concepts, landing zones, and network designs and bring them into productive operation.
You plan secure cloud architectures and implement them with a focus on networking and protection mechanisms.
Furthermore, you drive platform engineering forward and automate deployments with Terraform and scripts.
You ensure compliance with security and compliance requirements using Defender for Cloud, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity solutions.
Operation, stability, and expansion of the cloud environment are also your responsibility.
Additionally, you support other teams in getting started on the platform and assist them with architectural questions.
Qualifications:
Your foundation is an IT qualification EFZ, HF, or FH or a comparable career path.
You have worked with Azure for several years and have specialised in security and networking.
You have already gained experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in cloud engineering or a DevOps environment.
Furthermore, you master Microsoft Defender as well as Azure security services and are familiar with processes around a Security Operations Center (SOC).
In practice, you have secured cloud platforms, especially in the areas of identity and access management (IAM), networking, monitoring, and compliance.
You also understand modern operating models and ideally hold an Azure certification in administration or security.
