Instrument Nurse (M/F)

As part of strengthening its teams, a well-known hospital in the Lausanne region is looking for Instrument Nurses or Operating Theatre Nurses for temporary assignments.

You will work within a modern technical platform and contribute to the safe care of patients in collaboration with surgical and anaesthetic teams.

Your tasks

• Prepare the operating theatre, equipment and medical devices necessary for interventions.
• Provide instrumentation and technical assistance to surgeons during operations.
• Ensure compliance with asepsis, hygiene and safety rules.
• Participate in the management, control and traceability of operating theatre equipment.
• Work closely with all professionals involved in the theatre.
• Guarantee optimal patient care throughout their surgical journey.

Your profile

• Nursing diploma recognised in Switzerland or equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross.
• Training as an Instrument Nurse or significant experience in the operating theatre.
• Mastery of hygiene and safety protocols specific to the surgical environment.
• Excellent stress and priority management.
• Autonomy, rigour and team spirit.
• Availability for temporary assignments.
