Linux System Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 115,000Role:
You think analytically, work in a structured way and are a true team player. An intensive onboarding and a personal mentor programme make it easier for you to get started. After the probation period, you can work up to two days a week from home.
Responsibilities:
You operate and monitor Linux systems (RHEL) as well as test and production environments in operational use
You develop and implement concepts for container-based architectures with Docker and Kubernetes
You take responsibility for the maintenance and further development of virtualisation platforms
You contribute your expertise to infrastructure projects and actively shape system landscapes
You systematically document processes, setups and configurations and ensure their maintenance
You are prepared to regularly take on on-call duties to ensure smooth operation
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science (EFZ or comparable qualification)
At least five years of professional experience in system management, ideally in regulated or security-relevant environments
Very good knowledge of Linux (especially RHEL) as well as experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Sound knowledge of virtualisation (e.g. VMware, KVM)
Experience with database systems, especially Oracle, is an advantage
German at native level as well as good English skills
