The Municipality of Estavayer is looking, for the Culture, Tourism and Local Economy Service, for a:
Cultural Coordinator and Municipal Library at 40-50%

Your responsibilities
Library:
- Ensure the management and operation of the library (team management, budget monitoring, organisation of activities and coordination of daily tasks);
- Define and implement the acquisition and collection development policy (selection of books, cataloguing, weeding);
- Develop the programme of mediation/animation activities;
- Ensure the promotion and communication of the library and its activities;
- Maintain institutional relations and represent the authority at a higher level.
Cultural coordination:
- Participate in the development and implementation of a cultural policy for the Municipality (including the development of public support and encouragement measures);
- Coordinate the municipal vision in terms of culture by leading, supporting and/or accompanying various actions;
- Ensure the implementation of the new Law on the Promotion of Cultural Affairs (LEAC);
- Sit on the assembly of cultural delegates (Culture Service of the Canton of Fribourg);
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of cultural affairs.
Your profile
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent training
- Proven knowledge and interest in the field of culture, preferably with experience in the associative sector;
- Experience in team and project management (organisation, coordination, meeting management, etc.);
- Experience in library management is an asset;
- Interest in local life;
- Administrative and IT skills;
- Communication skills via social networks;
- Communication skills, initiative and creativity;
- Team spirit, cross-functional collaboration;
- Ability to work independently and make decisions;
- Versatility, precision, rigour, structure;
- Openness to professional development (training).
