Role:
You want to accompany technical products from the initial idea to market launch? In this role, you develop mechanical components and assemblies and design standardised, economical solutions for modular product systems.
Responsibilities:
Independent development of products from the specification sheet to market launch
Conceptualisation, calculation and design of components and assemblies
Development of manufacturing-oriented and economical solutions for modular modular systems
Assembly and commissioning of prototypes as well as evaluation of calculations, measurements and tests
Use of modern manufacturing processes such as industrial 3D printing
Close collaboration with product management, internal specialist departments and external suppliers
Support with market launches, product training and technical customer enquiries
Technical support for customer projects and project assemblies
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Mechanical Engineer FH/ETH (Bachelor or Master)
Experience in the development and design of mechanical components and assemblies
Knowledge in manufacturing-oriented design of plastic injection moulding, die casting, aluminium extrusion or plastic extrusion is an advantage
Very good knowledge of 3D-CAD, preferably SolidWorks
Experience with dimensional, form and positional tolerances; knowledge of SolidWorks Simulation/FEM is an advantage
Interest in additive manufacturing, modular products and variant management
Good German and English skills spoken and written
