Finance Clerk (80 - 100 %) (m/f/d)

Do you enjoy working with numbers and want to take on your own area of responsibility in finance? In this role, your focus is on accounts payable. At the same time, you will gain insight into other areas of accounting and support closing activities, reconciliations, and various financial queries. With increasing experience, the position offers you the opportunity to further expand your expertise and take on additional tasks.
Responsibilities:
You manage the accounts payable and ensure the correct processing of ongoing business transactions
You maintain the relevant accounts payable master data and ensure reliable data quality
You record, post and check incoming invoices and keep an overview of the processing status
You clarify invoice queries with various internal contacts and ensure efficient handling
You prepare payment runs, execute them and monitor the corresponding accounts
You support periodic reconciliations, identify discrepancies and process them
You participate in monthly and annual closing activities and prepare the necessary documents
You take on tasks in accounts receivable if required and support other areas of finance
You assist with administrative tasks in the finance department and contribute to various projects
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship
You have initial professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in the accounts payable area
You are proficient in MS Office and enjoy working with digital tools
Experience with a common ERP system is an advantage
You communicate confidently in German
