Role:
You want to take on not only operational responsibility in accounting but also actively lead and develop a department? In this role, you have an overview of the entire financial accounting and are the central contact person for financial matters. You combine professional responsibility with leadership tasks, oversee the financial statements, and ensure a smooth accounting process together with your team.
Responsibilities:
You bear the overall responsibility for financial accounting and coordinate the various areas of accounting
You manage general and subsidiary ledgers and ensure correct and comprehensible postings
You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER or OR
You monitor debtors and ensure consistent and professional receivables management
You coordinate creditor processes and ensure timely processing of payments
You prepare the necessary VAT returns and ensure their correct processing
You lead employees both professionally and organisationally and support them in their tasks
You contribute to overarching financial projects and take responsibility for your own topics
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and hold the Swiss Federal Certificate in Finance and Accounting or a comparable further qualification
You bring many years of professional experience in finance and accounting and ideally have already worked in a manufacturing environment
You have good knowledge of Swiss accounting and VAT
You have experience in leading or professionally supporting employees and gladly take on responsibility
You are confident in using SAP and MS Office, especially Excel
You communicate fluently in German; good English skills are an advantage
