Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Design and construction of machines and systems
- Development of design drawings, parts lists and technical specifications
- Creation of parts lists
- Carrying out design calculations and evaluation of material selection
- Procurement of project-related materials
- Collaboration with other departments such as manufacturing and quality control to ensure that designs meet specifications
- Support in the development of prototypes and testing of prototypes for performance and reliability
- Travel activity (approx. 10%)
Qualifications:
- Several years of experience as a design engineer in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in a CAD software
- Knowledge of manufacturing machines and systems
- Ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Good German and English skills
