Role:
Modern workplaces arise where cloud, security, and infrastructure work seamlessly together. As a System Engineer Modern Workplace, you ensure exactly that and technically bring customer environments up to date. You lead projects from analysis to implementation and are directly accessible to your customers. Variety is guaranteed, as no customer environment is the same.
Responsibilities:
You plan and lead projects around infrastructure, cloud, security, and modern workplace, taking on the technical responsibility.
You administer Microsoft 365 (M365) with Exchange Online, Teams, Entra ID, and Microsoft Security and develop the environments purposefully.
Furthermore, you implement client lifecycle projects with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot and migrate customer environments to hybrid or cloud-based platforms.
In operations, you take care of Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid environments as well as network, backup, and security projects.
Additionally, you conduct current state assessments and technical analyses, document thoroughly, and accompany onboardings and operational takeovers.
You also support new and existing customers directly on site and assist in 2nd and 3rd level support with challenging cases.
Qualifications:
You bring several years of experience in system engineering within the Microsoft environment.
You are very familiar with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure. You are also experienced with Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid scenarios.
Ideally, you have already worked with Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft Security, Fortinet, Veeam, as well as server, storage, network, and firewall solutions.
Experience from customer projects in the IT service environment is a clear plus.
You analyse and document IT infrastructures in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner.
Moreover, you look forward to regular customer assignments and hold a category B driving licence for the company vehicle.
