Our client develops and operates sophisticated IT infrastructure solutions for companies with diverse requirements. The technical team combines classic server and storage platforms with modern virtualisation and cloud technologies. After thorough training, you will take responsibility for customer solutions, accompany infrastructure projects, and specifically develop existing environments further. You will work closely with technical specialists and sales and contribute your expertise already in early project phases.
Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, and maintenance of server, storage, backup, and virtualisation solutions
Support and further development of existing customer infrastructures
Realisation of projects with local data centres, highly available systems, and cloud platforms
Implementation of solutions based on VMware, Hyper-V, and Microsoft Azure
Analysis of technical requirements and development of suitable infrastructure concepts
Support of sales in technical clarifications and in the pre-sales phase
Documentation of implemented solutions and coordination with customers and internal specialists
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or a corresponding university degree
Practical experience in one or more areas such as server, storage, backup, virtualisation, or cloud
Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or Microsoft Azure
Experience with infrastructure products such as Lenovo, Dell EMC, NetApp, Nutanix, Rubrik, or Veeam is an advantage
Analytical, methodical, and solution-oriented working style
Independent working style and willingness to take responsibility
Strong customer orientation, communication skills, and organisational talent
Very good German skills and willingness to undertake regional customer assignments
