Field Sales Consultant (m/f/d) 100% - Machines and equipment for woodworking - Central Switzerland

You are a passionate carpenter and have realised that you enjoy customer contact as much as working on the machine? Then this position is the next logical step.

Our client is an established, owner-managed Swiss company in the trade and service of woodworking machines. For Central Switzerland, we are exclusively searching for a sales professional who will take over and further develop an existing sales territory. You will advise joineries, interior fitters and timber construction companies on their investments, from the panel saw to the CNC system.

Your tasks

• Support and expansion of an existing customer base in Central Switzerland
• Acquisition of new customers
• Technical and commercial advice on investment projects, from the initial enquiry to completion
• Machine demonstrations at the customer’s site and in the in-house demonstration centre
• Market observation and early recognition of customer needs
• Close cooperation with internal sales, service and manufacturers

Your profile

• Apprenticeship as a carpenter EFZ or in a related wood profession
• Experience with woodworking machines and manufacturing processes, CNC knowledge advantageous
• Strong sales flair: you enjoy convincing, negotiating and closing deals
• Experience in field sales, customer consulting or as a project manager advantageous but not mandatory
• Independent, structured and reliable working style
• Residence in Central Switzerland, Swiss German, driving licence category B
