Employee Operational Purchasing & Material Planning (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF84,500 - 92,300Our client is a Swiss company in the field of technical systems and solutions. In addition to technical products, the company offers services related to the maintenance and servicing of existing systems.
Role:
In this versatile role, you take responsibility for purchasing, material availability, and warehouse organisation, ensuring that internal processes and customer orders are reliably supported.
You coordinate orders and delivery dates, work closely with suppliers and internal departments, and additionally support scheduling and order processing. You will be given a great deal of responsibility and the opportunity to actively develop existing processes further.
Responsibilities:
You coordinate operational purchasing and order management
You monitor stock levels, delivery dates, and goods receipts
You ensure material availability for service and sales
You organise warehouse movements, material provision, and deliveries
You work closely with suppliers and internal specialist departments
You support order processing and invoicing
You take on tasks in scheduling and ensure mutual representation
You actively contribute to the optimisation and digitalisation of internal processes
Qualifications:
You have a commercial or technical basic education with a Federal VET Diploma, ideally supplemented by further training as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate, technical commercial specialist with a federal certificate, or comparable further training
You bring several years of professional experience in purchasing, scheduling, materials management, or order processing
You have a good understanding of procurement, warehouse, and delivery processes and navigate confidently across various internal interfaces
You communicate very well in German and English; additional languages are an advantage
You work independently, in a structured and responsible manner, and reliably set priorities
You convince through initiative, assertiveness, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented working style
You think entrepreneurially and actively contribute to the optimisation of existing processes
