ECM Solution Engineer (m/f/d)

Connecting digital documents, intelligent processes, and modern enterprise architectures: This role is aimed at IT specialists who combine technical depth with consulting and develop practical ECM solutions from complex requirements. Measurable added value is created from the initial analysis to productive operation.
Responsibilities:
Analyse complex business processes and translate professional requirements into technical ECM solutions
Design and implementation of modern enterprise content management platforms
Installation, configuration, and individual extension of DMS and ECM systems
Development of interfaces between document platforms and existing business applications
Automation of recurring document and business processes
Development of scripts and technical extensions for customer-specific requirements
Integration of ECM solutions into ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems
Design and implementation of workflows for digital business processes
Support of projects from requirements analysis through technical implementation to go-live
Conducting technical workshops and jointly developing solution architectures with customers
Analysis and optimisation of existing ECM and DMS installations
Ensuring stable application operation including support, troubleshooting, and further development
Technical documentation of solutions, interfaces, and operational processes
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from business, IT, and research
Use of agile project methods with a pragmatic focus on sustainable results
Qualifications:
Completed degree or higher education in computer science, business informatics, or comparable IT fields
Solid knowledge of IT architectures, server technologies, and relational databases
Several years of experience with ECM, DMS, or comparable enterprise applications
Experience in installation, configuration, and technical further development of software solutions
Good knowledge of SQL and ideally experience with scripting or programming languages
Understanding of APIs, interfaces, and system integrations
Experience in application operation as well as in analysing and resolving technical issues
Enjoyment of workshops, technical consulting, and direct exchange with customers
Ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly and solution-oriented
Analytical thinking as well as a structured and independent working style
Willingness to actively accompany customer projects on site within Switzerland
