Role:
Managed services thrive on someone keeping an overview – and that is you. You know the customer environments, their peculiarities, and the points where things can get stuck. You move confidently between virtualisation, Microsoft base infrastructure, and virtual workplaces. As a 3rd-level instance, you take over when it gets technically demanding. In collaboration with the engineering teams, solutions are created that really work in operation.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for operating the IT infrastructure for managed services customers
You analyse and handle service requests, incidents, problems, and changes
You work closely with the engineering teams
You plan and carry out maintenance work in customer environments as well as internally
You operate monitoring and event management
Additionally, you identify customer needs and pass these on to the sales organisation
Qualifications:
You bring solid expertise in virtualisation and server technologies (hypervisors such as VMware, Hyper-V or KVM)
You have practical experience with Microsoft base infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, GPO)
You are familiar with virtual working environments such as terminal servers and VDI solutions
You understand the storage connection of infrastructures
You have experience in the Microsoft environment (M365, Intune, Entra ID, GPO, hybrid setups)
You communicate well in German and have specialised English skills
