Promoter of success conditions at the local level and close to the population, the Professional Practices Development Service (SDPP) of AVASAD addresses quality issues, professional support, capacity development, and innovation in the field of home care, particularly in terms of prevention and health promotion. This team of 30 collaborators guarantees an evolving and equitable offer for the entire Vaud population. To complete the team, we are looking for a:
Social Worker (70% to 90%)
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Handle requests arriving at the solidarity centre. This telephone line aims to provide a coordinated response and promote social action throughout the Canton;
- Provide expertise and ensure a quality social response in accordance with the code of ethics defined by the profession;
- Establish a short, medium and long-term intervention plan in situations that require it;
- Collaborate with partners in the socio-health network;
- Contribute to the creation and development of internal documentation to guarantee the quality of services of the Solidarity Centre.
Your skills and experience:
We are looking for a collaborator who ideally has 1 to 3 years of experience in social care. The ideal candidate has knowledge of the medico-social environment.
The role requires:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (HES)
- A strong interest in teamwork while having a great capacity to work independently
- An eye for detail with analytical skills, while being solution-, client- and results-oriented
- An open, communicative, collaborative personality with ease in internal and external contacts.
