Modern cloud platforms form the basis for flexible, scalable, and secure digital services. In a technologically diverse environment, you will face a challenging engineering role where you not only operate cloud solutions but actively further develop them. You combine deep technical knowledge with automation, security, and a high standard for sustainable solutions.
You take responsibility for central cloud services and accompany their entire lifecycle - from technical conception and introduction to stable operation. Together with specialists from various IT areas, you continuously develop the platform and ensure that new technologies are used purposefully and economically.
Responsibilities:
Engineering, operation, and further development of modern cloud services with a focus on Microsoft Azure
Design and implementation of scalable cloud solutions as well as support for technical migrations and introductions
Development and optimisation of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions as well as analysis of complex faults
Automation of provisioning and operational processes with Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and CI/CD
Implementation and further development of security, identity, network, backup, and recovery concepts
Taking over 3rd-level support and technical collaboration in cross-departmental cloud and infrastructure projects
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
Several years of experience in cloud engineering and professional operation of Microsoft Azure environments
Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation, ideally with Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, or Python
Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and logging as well as a good understanding of cloud security, identity, and network technologies
Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-500 are advantageous
Very good German skills as well as good English skills and a strong enthusiasm for modern cloud technologies
