Childcare facilities in the school environment (APEMS) represent one of the key links in Lausanne's family policy. Located close to schools, APEMS meet the needs of families in the various districts of the city and are situated in the heart of the neighbourhoods, near or within the school establishments. They offer quality educational supervision.

For the Prélaz facility, located in the west of the city, we are looking for a director.

Main mission(s)

Manage the out-of-school facility to ensure the safety, well-being and quality of services for the children cared for

Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team

Ensure and take responsibility for the administrative and financial management of the facility

Develop an educational project including families, professional and associative partners

Be responsible for the application of the reception concept (downloadable on the website www.lausanne.ch/apems)

Profile

University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification

Advanced Diploma in the management and direction of educational, social and socio-health institutions (required or to be completed within two years)

Minimum 5 years of professional educational experience in the field of childhood since obtaining the prerequisite qualification

Proven professional experience in team management

Professional experience in participatory development of educational projects

Knowledge of issues related to collective out-of-school care, an asset

Proven organisational skills

Leadership ability and team spirit

Systemic vision and critical thinking

Excellent command of MS Office tools

Special conditions

Clean criminal records (ordinary and special)

Working hours include activity during school holidays

Salary grade 11 within the period of obtaining the Advanced Diploma
