Role:
An experienced professional in the field of embedded software is sought for the development of modern robotics solutions. The position combines software engineering, hardware-near development, and system integration - from initial prototypes to production-ready solutions in an interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:
Development and further development of embedded software solutions for modern robotic systems
Engineering from the prototype phase to transfer into innovative series solutions
Active participation in software integration and hardware testing
Development and integration of distributed software components
Collaboration with specialists from software development, robotics, algorithms, and electrical engineering
Analysis of technical challenges and development of creative, practical solutions
Participation in innovative research and development projects
Qualifications:
Completed studies in computer science or a comparable field
At least five years of professional experience in software development & very good knowledge of modern C++
Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and distributed services
Knowledge of embedded Linux on ARM and ideally driver development
Experience with communication protocols such as I2C and SPI
Experience with Nvidia Jetson or willingness to learn quickly
Experience with Docker, ROS, Python, Bash, real-time operating systems or distributed computing is an advantage
Knowledge of GPU, DSP or other hardware accelerators is an advantage
Fluent German skills as well as good English skills
