About the job
When technology becomes a functioning overall system.
Matti Technology AG in Sulgen develops and builds industrial digital printing machines for international customers. Their systems combine sophisticated mechanics with modern control and drive technology, sensors, PLCs and software. For the further development and commissioning of these systems, we are looking for an experienced technical professional who recognises interrelationships, masters interfaces and reliably gets systems running with a systematic approach.
Automation Engineer System Integration & Commissioning
You will accompany new machines and modules from technical conception to successful commissioning. Together with the specialist departments, you will develop system solutions and design electrical, drive and sensor technology. A particular focus is the integration of the various disciplines into a functioning overall system.
In doing so, you develop and implement automation and control solutions in the environment of PLC, motion and machine control. You plan and carry out functional tests, analyse faults methodically and optimise systems until stable productive operation is achieved. At international customers, you accompany the commissioning on site and ensure a professional handover of the systems into production. You document insights from tests and field operation in a structured manner and directly incorporate them into the further development of future machine generations.
Your profile
You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or technical college in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics or a comparable field and bring several years of experience in machine, special machine or plant engineering. Your focus is ideally on automation, system integration or commissioning of complex technical systems.
Electrical concepts, PLC controls as well as drive and sensor technology are familiar to you. Experience with CODESYS, Beckhoff TwinCAT and CAE or E-Plan is particularly welcome. Crucial is your ability to understand technical interrelationships across disciplines, systematically narrow down errors and take responsibility for demanding commissioning until the solution is found. Very good German skills, good English and a worldwide willingness to travel of around 10 percent complete your profile.
What is offered to you
You can expect a versatile system technology role with direct reference to the real machine. From conception through software and integration to commissioning, you accompany the entire technical development process and see immediately how engineering becomes a functioning production system. Short decision-making paths, an experienced interdisciplinary team as well as engineering, assembly and test field at the Sulgen site offer a technically attractive environment. For concentrated development work, home office is also possible on occasion.
