Our client is seeking a Senior Business Project Manager to lead the business aspect of a major programme to modernise their information system. You will coordinate business and IT stakeholders, oversee migration activities, and support the organisation through a significant transformation planned over several years.

Our client is a well-known public sector organisation based in the Lausanne region.
Description
- Lead the business aspect of a major information system modernisation programme.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities, resources, priorities, risks and dependencies.
- Design and coordinate the migration of existing processes to the new environment.
- Manage multiple teams and migration projects in parallel.
- Ensure coordination between business teams, IT, management and external partners.
- Gather, structure and prioritise user needs according to their value and complexity.
- Contribute to specifications, testing phases and solution acceptance.
- Structure project reporting and provide management with the necessary elements for decision-making.
- Manage communication, training and change management activities.
- Monitor the budget and contribute to trade-offs in a constrained environment.
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and defined governance principles.
Profile
- University degree at Master’s level or equivalent training.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in project management and leadership.
- Significant experience managing complex IT transformation or modernisation projects.
- Excellent ability to coordinate teams and stakeholders with complementary business and IT profiles.
- Experience managing projects with significant organisational, budgetary or resource constraints.
- Experience in change management, communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience in Business Analysis, particularly in formalising and prioritising requirements, is an asset.
- Experience in data, analytics, statistics or scientific environments would be highly valued.
- Experience in the Swiss public sector is an advantage.
- Knowledge of HERMES or other recognised project management methodologies would be appreciated.
- Excellent leadership, communication, synthesis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written, and a good level of technical English.
Job Offer
- A long-term assignment at approximately 80%, on a programme planned until the end of 2030.
- A salary between CHF 140,000 and CHF 150,000 gross per annum at 100%, depending on experience.
- A position based in Lausanne, offering a high level of responsibility and a central role in a strategic transformation programme.
- One day of remote work per week possible.
