Role:
As a System Engineer: Windows Infrastructure, you are the technical anchor for a complex IT infrastructure in the Windows enterprise environment. Hybrid fat client architectures, virtualisation platforms, and security concepts are part of your daily routine. You confidently navigate between operational management, project work, and technical consulting. Your work is characterised by profound know-how and a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the operation and further development of the IT infrastructure in the Windows environment.
You support and optimise desktop virtualisation solutions based on Citrix.
Design and operation of hybrid fat client architectures as well as Citrix workplace applications are in your hands.
You actively contribute senior expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365), SCCM, and Citrix.
Additionally, you administer and further develop virtual platforms such as VMware and other virtualisation solutions.
You also share responsibility for IT security, lead infrastructure projects, and ensure stable 2nd/3rd-level support across multiple data centres.
Qualifications:
You have a solid IT education at HF, FH level or equivalent.
You bring several years of professional experience as a System Engineer in the Windows enterprise environment.
You possess in-depth knowledge of Windows server and client environments including Microsoft 365.
Experience with Citrix environments and server virtualisation distinguishes you.
Good knowledge in IT security rounds off your profile.
Furthermore, you work independently, in a structured manner, and ideally have experience in project management.
