Role:

As a Senior IT System Architect, you are responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous development of critical IT and OT infrastructures. The focus is on optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role requires a holistic understanding of applications, systems, networks, and cloud technologies and their interaction. By taking on this leading technical role, you become a significant part of the development of a high-performing, knowledge-driven team.

Responsibilities:

• System Architecture: Development and further development of sustainable architecture strategies considering future-proof technologies

• Architecture Design & System Integration: Designing complex system landscapes and integrating them into existing operational processes

• Technical Leadership: Developing solution designs and providing technical leadership during their implementation in cross-functional project teams (e.g., network, security, infrastructure)

• Standardisation & Optimisation: Applying and further developing architecture standards as well as continuously optimising infrastructure and system architecture

• Technology Consulting & Mentoring: Advising and providing technical support to engineering and operations teams in implementing solution concepts and supporting the professional and technical development of the team

• Operational Support: Supporting critical incidents with technical expertise and promoting sustainable, long-term solutions

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in designing and implementing business-critical IT infrastructures

• Holistic understanding of IT and OT architectures as well as their functional separation

• Proven leadership experience in technical projects

• Ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly to specialists and managers

• Experience working with agile methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)

• Strong communication, team, and mentoring skills

• Completed degree (Bachelor or Master or higher) at a university of applied sciences or university in computer science, systems engineering, or a comparable field

• Very good German skills (at least level C1) in spoken and written form
