Cloud & Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Those who enjoy understanding complex IT landscapes and developing functioning solutions from technical requirements will find a versatile environment here. We are looking for a systems engineer with a customer focus who combines classic infrastructure with cloud technologies and independently drives projects forward.
Responsibilities:
Technical support of heterogeneous customer environments with a focus on Microsoft technologies
Development and implementation of modern infrastructure concepts for servers, clients and cloud platforms
Administration of Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and hybrid IT environments
Support of virtualisation platforms and central infrastructure services
Planning and implementation of cloud migrations and technological modernisations
Analysis of performance, availability and security issues
Handling complex support cases and sustainable root cause analysis
Assuming technical responsibility for customer projects from planning to implementation
Coordination of manufacturers and technology partners in complex system matters
Advising customers on architecture, technology and lifecycle decisions
Automation of operational and administrative processes with PowerShell
Building standardized solutions and reusable technical concepts
Documentation of architectures, configurations and operational processes
Active engagement with new technologies around cloud, security and infrastructure automation
Qualifications:
Education in computer science, systems engineering or a comparable technical field
Experience as a systems engineer, infrastructure engineer or in a similar technical role
Practical experience with Microsoft infrastructures and cloud services
Good knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and virtualisation
Ideally experience with VMware, Exchange and Azure
Basic knowledge of Linux is an advantage
Interest in automation, PowerShell and modern cloud architectures
Experience in implementing IT projects and technical migrations
Strong customer and solution orientation
Independent working style and high personal responsibility
Enjoyment of communication, consulting and direct collaboration with various contacts
Motivation to continuously expand technical knowledge
