To further drive our continuous organic growth, we are seeking a committed individual to strengthen our team in the BBU Engineering Infrastructure department as Groupleader Plant Engineering INFRA Building K (a), 100%.

Your tasks:

• Leading an internal INFRA team (Plant Engineers)
• Ensuring the reliable and GMP-compliant operation of all infrastructure and supply systems
• Planning and implementing maintenance, servicing, and optimisation measures
• Coordinating and managing external service providers
• Responsibility for:

• • Maintenance strategies and plans
  • Fault management and root cause analyses
  • Continuous improvement of plant availability and system performance

• Close collaboration with:
  • Production and production planning (ensuring availability)
  • QA/QE (GMP compliance, audits, deviations, CAPAs)
  • HSE (safety and environmental requirements)

• Support and management of:
  • Qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Effectiveness checks and technical assessments
  • CAPEX projects in the INFRA area

Responsibilities

• Ensuring plant availability and operational safety
• Ensuring GMP compliance of all INFRA systems within the delegated area of responsibility
• Defining and implementing standards (SOPs, maintenance strategies, systems)
• Escalation and handling of:
  • Critical faults
  • Deviations
  • Compliance-relevant issues

Leadership responsibilities

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the INFRA team
• Development of employees (technicians & engineers)
• Management of external partners and service providers
• Building and further developing a high-performance 24/7 operating model

Collaboration & advice

• Close cooperation with engineering, operations, QE, production, and external partners
• Advising specialist departments and project teams on compliance and governance issues
• Training and raising awareness of employees on compliance and GMP topics

Your profile:

Requirements

• Technical education (FH/ETH/HTL or equivalent)
• Several years of experience in operating GMP-relevant plants and utilities
• Experience in leadership, ideally in shift operations
• Sound knowledge in:
  • GMP / pharmaceutical environment
  • Maintenance and reliability
  • Qualification / validation
• High communication and coordination skills Language skills

• Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written

IT skills

• Confident handling of MS Office; knowledge of QM or document management systems is an advantage

• SAP knowledge is an advantage
