Role:
In this leadership position, you are responsible for the internal freight forwarding as well as key topics around export, export control, and origin.
You ensure that international deliveries are handled economically, on time, and in compliance with regulations, develop processes further, and work closely with sales, project organisation, and other departments. You can expect a responsible position with short decision-making paths, attractive employment conditions, and good development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
You lead the internal freight forwarding both professionally and personally
You are responsible for international export shipments from the offer to delivery
You ensure cost- and deadline-compliant transport handling
You analyse and optimise export and freight forwarding processes
You coordinate closely with sales, project management, and internal interfaces
You lead projects in the area of freight forwarding and export
You ensure compliance with export control regulations together with the responsible departments
You are responsible for matters relating to goods origin and preferences
Qualifications:
You have a technical or commercial basic education with further training, e.g. as a foreign trade specialist with a federal certificate or head of foreign trade with a federal diploma
You bring several years of experience in international export and freight forwarding handling
You have leadership experience and sound knowledge in export control, customs, and origin
You communicate fluently in German and English; additional languages are an advantage
You work independently, responsibly, and solution-oriented
You convince through negotiation skills, assertiveness, and strong social competence
