Responsibilities:
Processing and monitoring of import and export transactions in daily business
Verification of goods origins and application of existing free trade agreements
Handling customs matters with authorities, service providers and internal departments
Control and further development of customs declarations and customs systems
Preparation of internal and external audits in the area of customs and compliance
Monitoring transport quality and handling delivery deviations
Analysis of logistical errors and implementation of appropriate corrective measures
Conducting inspections at logistics sites and coordination with sales
Qualifications:
Completed apprenticeship in logistics or commerce with further training in customs or foreign trade
Several years of experience in logistics, customs clearance or international goods traffic
Good knowledge of Swiss customs law as well as preference and origin law
Confident handling of ERP, transport and customs systems, ideally SAP or AEB
Good user knowledge of MS Office and common logistics applications
Structured working method with a strong sense of quality and responsibility
Willingness to travel occasionally and valid driving licence
Very good German skills and good English skills; French is an advantage
