Responsibilities:
You handle import and export orders from recording to completion.
You prepare and check customs and shipping documents according to applicable regulations.
You coordinate transports with freight forwarders and other service providers.
You monitor delivery deadlines and open shipments in daily business.
In case of discrepancies, you clarify matters directly with the responsible partners.
You compare transport offers and support price negotiations.
You develop logistics processes together with internal and external contacts.
You independently handle invoicing and administrative logistics tasks.
Qualifications:
Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training in freight forwarding, export, or foreign trade.
Several years of experience in import and export processing as well as customs.
Good knowledge of Swiss customs and foreign trade processes.
Practical experience in goods traffic with Germany and other EU countries.
Confident handling of freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics service providers.
Understanding of transport costs, conditions, and economic processes.
Good user knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
Very good German skills; English skills and a structured way of working are advantageous.
